A Late Snow
This adaptation of Jane Chambers A Late Snow was an experiment in placemaking, creating theatre fast, and having fun. On one of the last snowy days of the season a mass text message was sent out to those who had signed up using the text flyers around campus, detailing the time and place for this outdoor flash performance. With a sprinkling of flakes and a stage made of the remaining snow on the ground, an audience of around 30 assembled in the cold to share this complicated story of queer love, loss, and life. The performance was followed by a free dinner and s'mores over a campfire.
